I am married. I married Stephen Weeks on 12 June 2009. On 13 June 2009 I moved out of my mother's home and into my own, with Stephen. For those in the valley, we now live in a small apartment on Redwood and North Temple. The apartments are adorable, and I love ours. I've felt so much at home here, it's wonderful.
Now, I only told a few people about my getting married. Included were those who asked about it, and my immediate family. The major reason for marriage was to get me health insurance (and as a result allowing me to move out of my mother's home so that I could work on getting better). Yeah, it doesn't sound very romantic, but we married more for practical reasons than for anything else. And, it was the right decision. Since leaving my mother's home I have been calmer, my anxiety attacks have been almost completely nonexistent, and I can now start working on getting onto the medication that I need to be stable and productive (which my mother was highly against me doing, and she remains that way - but I don't have to discuss it with her any more).
We may have a reception or a ceremony or something more formal in a few months - a commitment ceremony of sorts. Our plan is to have it sometime in October, but it depends on a lot of things (ranging from my stability, to our finances, all the way over to how my surgery goes and how I look at that point).
Now, health things. If you've read this far I'm sure you noticed me saying "surgery" in the last paragraph. Yes, I am having more surgery. No, I don't know when. Way back in December I mentioned that I had some "eye bumps." Well, they didn't go away. In fact, they've moved, and I developed another, different bump next to my eye. So, as per his instructions, I went back to him at the beginning of the month. He is unsure what they are, but has recommended surgery (due to pain) and a biopsy. The surgery specifically is to remove the different mass next to my eye - which he suspects is some type of cyst that grew out of the bone (!), the biopsy will be to find out what the eyebumps are.
In preparation for this surgery, he asked me to get a CT scan. So I did, I mean, why not? The scan itself was fine, I've never seen a CT machine before (outside of watching House), let alone be inside of one. I had two scans done - one without contrast material and one with. And I must say - Contrast material feels friggin' weird. It makes you feel extremely warm (it felt like I had wet myself - apparently a common feeling), I had my arm across my stomach when I had the material injected, and I had to move it because I felt like I was BURNING MYSELF. Yeah, interesting. Also, when saline goes into your system quickly, you get a funny taste in your mouth. Taste/smell really - it was "clean". I have no other word for it. Also strange. Afterwards I started to get a coppery taste in my mouth - but I'm unsure if that came from the contrast material or the saline.
The CT scan went fine, and I found out the next day that it located another mass - one I was unaware of. This small bump is inside my ear. I have to see an Ear, Nose, and Throat doctor to figure out what that is and what the plan is.
I'm starting to think I should get a new body, this one seems defective.
Anyway, that's what's been going on so far. I hope everyone else is doing great.

Just because the Wii can't support good graphics doesn't mean graphics don't matter. Xbox and Playstation owners just get to enjoy more from their games.
I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. ^_^
